Workshop Description

This workshop is for anyone feeling the stress of a hectic workday or having trouble balancing work and personal life. It is designed for a group of 10-20 people and explores methods for effectively managing personal and business time. Topics covered include:

  • Time flows and temperaments *
  • Relationships between the urgent and the important
  • Levels of urgency
  • Scheduling versus planning
  • Essential time management tips for balancing work and personal life

  • See how they respond to time and its many stressors *

Process

This workshop uses experiential learning techniques. Participants will be invited to take part in a series of discussions and engage in small-group work exercises, role-playing, and hands on activities designed to explore and practice the topics covered.

1 Day Comprehensive

  • This comprehensive version covers the issues of time "flow" and how various temperaments deal with it. It deals with the often debilitating relationship between time management and stress and explores practical methods for creating a life balance. Participants also focus on the relationship between urgency and importance to set goals for guiding daily actions. They learn the three levels of urgency, set up realistic and balanced schedules, plan effectively and employ a series of tips to maintain a personal-work life balance.
